Volunteering at the 2020 Election

I was more involved in this year’s election than ever before. It was a very interesting, educational, and fantastic experience volunteering 20 hours of my time as a poll greeter. SO glad I did it and I highly recommend that anyone do it. I took my kids to vote, got a yard sign from Penzy’s Spices, and my pumpkin was even a supporting message!

It’s important. It’s really important. Leadership matters. Character matters. My boys aren’t old enough to know anything else except the last four years. I hope they will vote at the first chance they can, support equality, and – if given the chance – lead with compassion, intelligence, and a gentle hand.
