Sometimes things come to you at the right time. It’s taken my husband about 25 years to get a boat. But we got one late last year. It’s not shiny, new, or sparkly. It’s old (48 years old) but it’s solid. He’s been tinkering with it, making updates, adding lights, and making it work for 2020. Nobody knew how important this boat would be for our family as we’ve been social distanced and spending soooo much time together.
We took it out at night for the first time over the weekend. After a totally cloudy day we happened to catch an absolutely beautiful sunset. It was absolutely beautiful. Water was 85 degrees and by the end of the day, the air was less – which made the water so warm! I can’t wait to get back out there.
